BANGKOK: Faced with a plunge in tourist arrivals from Asia because of the SARS crisis, Thailand said yesterday it would target New Zealand and Australia in an attempt to lure visitors from the southern hemisphere during its coming winter season.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand said it would hold a marketing roadshow in Auckland and Sydney from June 3 to 10.
