ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's political parties, including hardline Islamic groups, have backed Prime Minister Zafarullah Khan Jamali's bid to improve ties with rival India, officials said yesterday.
But a potential stumbling block could be the insistence by some parties that the talks focus on Kashmir, over which the neighbours have fought two wars. India insists Kashmir should only be one of a number of subjects in any talks.
