SEOUL: North Korea denied yesterday it was involved in an attempt to smuggle US$50mil (RM190mil) of heroin into Australia on a North Korean-owned ship last month.
The government “has consistently been opposed to the misuse and smuggling of drugs and has nothing to do with the recent case,” a North Korean Foreign Ministry spokesman was quoted as saying by the North's KCNA news agency.
