MANILA: The Philippines offered a reward of 50mil pesos (RM3.6mil) yesterday for information leading to the arrest of key figures in the country's biggest Muslim rebel group after recent attacks on civilian communities.
“The government has decided to take punitive action against the perpetrators of the Siocon terrorist attack and the Maigo attack in Lanao del Norte,” presidential adviser for Mindanao Jesus Dureza told a news conference.
