A HISTORIC town in south China, where the burning of smuggled opium triggered the intrusion of British forces in 1839, launched 23 projects with a total fund of 10bil yuan (RM4.56bil) over the weekend.
The 23 projects in Humen town of Guangdong province include the Humen Harbour Bridge, an auto park, a science park and a logistics park, said local officials.
