SYDNEY: People travelling to Australia from areas hit by the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) virus will be banned from hospitals for 10 days after their arrival, health authorities said yesterday.
Chief Medical Officer Prof Richard Smallwood said only patients needing urgent care would be allowed to receive treatment and others would have to defer hospital visits.
