FOUR Chinese travel agencies and Egyptian Wings Tours launched “the Egypt sponsorship tourist group” recently, donating 500 yuan (RM236) in the name of each tourist to the United Nations Children’s Fund (Unicef) to help Iraqi children.
Two sponsorship tour groups will set out on April 29 and May 2. Officials from the Chinese Embassy in Egypt, the Egyptian Tourism Administration and Unicef’s Egyptian office will take part in a banquet in Egypt on May 3.
