GUANGZHOU: World Health Organization (WHO) experts wrapped up their visit to the SARS epicentre in southern China yesterday with no major breakthroughs but saying they expected “huge progress” in the weeks and months ahead.
The team ended their six-day visit as China's health ministry announced 11 new cases of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome, bringing the total number in the worst-hit country to 1,279 with 53 deaths.
