A FLEET of 32 ambulances is on standby to pick up anyone suspected of having SARS, in a move to safeguard the public transport system.
The Health Ministry will send an ambulance for anyone who starts displaying SARS symptoms while on quarantine at home, travellers from SARS-hit areas who feel unwell while here, and those referred by general practitioners and dentists.
