“LIVE” studio audiences are no longer allowed to watch television show tapings here and people are being kept away from the orangutans – all in an effort to protect man and beast from contracting the deadly SARS.
Government-linked MediaCorp, the country's largest broadcaster, announced yesterday that they would no longer have “live” studio audiences for programmes like Wheel of Fortune and the sitcom Phua Chu Kang as a “precautionary measure to prevent the spread of the virus.”
