DAVAO (Philippines): At least 13 people were killed and 35 others injured in an explosion yesterday that ripped through a wharf in the southern Philippine city of Davao, officials said.
A security official said the blast, the second in the commercial capital of the country's troubled south within a month, appeared to have been caused by a powerful improvised explosive device.
