A SENIOR official with the Ministry of Labour and Social Security has said that it is feasible for the Chinese government to create eight million jobs this year, thanks to the rapid economic growth, booming service industry and private sector, and a series of incentive policies for expanding employment.
Zeng Peiyan, minister of the State Development Planning Commission, told the just-concluded Chinese legislature that the Government will strive to create more than eight million jobs this year for the growing army of jobless.
