TOKYO: “It is a modern-day witch hunt,” 47-year-old Tsuyoshi Teraoka said as he puffed away in the “SmoCar,” a cigarette-haven provided by Japan Tobacco (JT) for smokers who need a place to light up.
“Not all of us are bad, but smokers are treated like evil creatures,” Teraoka, chief spokesman at a software company, said.
