BANDA ACEH: An angry mob yesterday torched three cars and ransacked an office belonging to international monitors overseeing a recently-signed peace deal between the government and separatist rebels in Indonesia's Aceh province, officials said.
Two local monitors were slightly injured in the incident in Takegon, about 300km south of this provincial capital, said David Gorman, head of the Henri Dunant Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue, the organisation that brokered the peace deal.
