CHIAYI (Taiwan): At least 17 people were killed and more than 150 injured yesterday when a train carrying tourists to Taiwan's scenic Mount Ali, or Alishan, derailed and rolled over, the Disaster Rescue Command Centre said.
Authorities are still compiling the number of casualties but at least 156 people have been injured in the accident, 102 of who sustained severe injuries, officials said.
