Curators placing an ancient Buddhist status for display at the Asian Civilisation Museum in Singapore Wednesday. 

The newly-restored 135-year-old museum, built between 1864 and 1867, will open its doors to the public this weekend. 

Exhibits include the ancestral cultures of Singaporeans and their links to the history and ancient culture of China, South Asia, South-East Asia and West Asia. - AP
