SINGAPORE'S housing authority said yesterday it would trim at least 900 jobs as it slows construction of subsidised housing, making it the second government-linked agency in just over a week to announce job cuts.
The Housing and Development Board, responsible for public housing, said in a statement that the 900, or 11% of its 8,000-strong work force, had opted to leave voluntarily.
