TEHERAN: The head of the UN nuclear watchdog agency said yesterday that Iran, accused by Washington of pursuing nuclear weapons, had agreed to provide prompt information on any new nuclear facilities in the country.
This is something I welcome. It is a sign of greater transparency, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) chief Mohamed ElBaradei said at the end of a two-day visit to Iran to exchange views on the country's nuclear energy programme.
