THAILAND'S Attorney-General Vichian Viriyaprasit has joined the chorus of outrage against the gunning down of suspected drug dealers in the country, as the number of bodies rose to almost 400, two weeks into the operation.
Accusing the police of taking the law into their own hands and shooting suspects on sight, Vichian said violent suppression was not an effective way to fight the drug menace.
