A POLICY established decades ago to protect female workers by giving them early retirement is now being questioned by an increasing number of Chinese women who want to keep their jobs longer.
Under the policy, the retiring age for female staff is 50, and for men, 55, while women cadres leave their posts at 55, it's 60 for men of the same status.
