HANOI: Vietnam has launched a fierce attack on the US state of Virginia after it passed a bill prohibiting the flying of the gold-starred red flag of the communist regime at public ceremonies.
The legislation was passed by Virginia's House of Delegates on Jan 31, the 35th anniversary of the Tet offensive launched by communist forces against US and South Vietnamese troops in 1968.
