CHINESE geologists have detected a large-scale underground reservoir in the country's largest desert.
The underground reservoir has a storage capacity of 36 billion cubic metres, almost the amount of the Three Gorges Reservoir under construction, said experts at the China Geological Survey Bureau (CGSB).
