SEOUL: South Korea will stress to the communist North the importance of ending its nuclear crisis but expects no swift resolution, a special envoy from the South said before leaving for the North yesterday.
The mission of Lim Dong-won, special envoy of South Korean President Kim Dae-jung, may be made easier after the United States said on Sunday it was ready to tell North Korea it has no intention to attack.
