New studio flats let old and young mix


A DIFFERENT approach is being taken to public housing for the elderly. Instead of building studio apartments in separate blocks, the Housing Board will put them in the same blocks as three-, four- and five-room units. 

This will allow older folk to live alongside younger families and in the same block.
