NAKHON PATHOM (Thailand): Peace broker Norway moved to bring Tamil Tiger rebels back on board yesterday, a day after they walked out of a panel responsible for winding down Sri Lanka’s separatist war, officials said.
The third day of negotiations here opened under a cloud following the shock announcement by the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) that they were quitting one of the key elements of the peace process.
