Here's a list of purchases you should ask an e-invoice for


PETALING JAYA: Taxpayers are now encouraged to request e-invoices for purchases linked to tax relief claims, says the Inland Revenue Board.

This is part of the country's preparations to move towards a pre-filled tax return system.

Tax experts said that, at present, e-invoices are not yet mandatory for claiming tax reliefs.

Here's a list of purchases that may require an e-invoice in the future.
