Alliance Bank launches new HQ

A defining milestone: Menara Alliance Bank supports digital-first operations, hybrid work arrangements, cross-functional collaboration, and talent development, ensuring the organisation remains agile and competitive in a rapidly evolving financial landscape.

PETALING JAYA: Alliance Bank Malaysia Bhd yesterday launched its new headquarters at Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, its first owned building.

The new building, which was occupied by the bank last August, can accommodate 2,000 employees at a single location to support the bank’s operational and long-term growth strategy.

They were previously operating at Capital Square in Jalan Munshi Abdullah.

The opening marked a defining milestone as the bank entered a new phase of growth, sustainability leadership, and future-ready transformation under its Acceler8 2027 strategy.

Chief executive officer of Alliance Bank Group, Kellee Kam (pic, below), said: “Menara Alliance Bank reflects who we are today as an organisation.

“More than a physical space, it is a clear expression of our culture, our purpose and our long-term commitment to Malaysia.”

The opening was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony and seedling planting, commemorating the bank’s fresh chapter and reaffirming its sustainability pledge.

Menara Alliance Bank is also on track to achieve Green Mark Gold for the base building and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification for its fit-out works by 2026.

Kam said beyond structural excellence, the bank incorporates eco-conscious features such as carpets made from recycled plastic bottles, handwoven chairs crafted by Orang Asli and furnishings made from repurposed materials.

Menara Alliance Bank supports digital-first operations, hybrid work arrangements, cross-functional collaboration, and talent development, ensuring the organisation remains agile and competitive in a rapidly evolving financial landscape.

“It serves as a strategic hub that strengthens connectivity, fosters collaboration, and enables us to deliver innovative solutions and better experiences for our customers and our people,” added Kam.
