Ex-Kota Baru OCPD appointed new Cheras police chief

KUALA LUMPUR: Former Kota Baru OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Rosdi Daud has been officially appointed as the new Cheras OCPD effective Friday (Jan 16).

The handover ceremony was witnessed by Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Fadil Marsus at the Cheras district police headquarters on Friday.

ACP Mohd Rosdi, 54, is replacing Senior Asst Comm Aidil Bolhassan, who has been promoted and transferred to the Bukit Aman Internal Security and Public Order Department as its deputy director.

“I have high expectations of ACP Mohd Rosdi as serving as a district police chief in the Klang Valley comes with significant challenges.

“As such, I hope he will give his full commitment and utilise all his experience and expertise to serve the organisation in Cheras and deliver results,” Comm Fadil told reporters after the ceremony.
