PETALING JAYA: Count Cuisine, a brand-new high-end dining landmark located in Sunway Square Mall, will begin its soft opening on Dec 11.
It will officially commence operations following the grand opening of Sunway Square Mall on Dec 12.
The establishment is not only focused on delivering "a treat for the taste buds" but is also committed to creating the ultimate all-around dining experience for its patrons.
The first flagship store in Malaysia, with a total investment exceeding RM7mil, strategically chose the established and well-developed Sunway township as the location for its headquarters. This fully demonstrates the investor's strong confidence in this premium dining concept and its future market.
Count Cuisine managing director Datuk Ben Loh Siew Weng said that the restaurant occupies an area of over 16,000 sq ft and its overall design adopts a modern Chinese style, creating a luxurious and grand ambiance.
"The restaurant is also equipped with the latest LED large screen and a high-quality karaoke sound system, making it an ideal choice for family gatherings and private dinners, as well as an excellent venue for company events, various parties and celebrations."
Its food and beverage director Lee Kin Yaw said that Count Cuisine's core area includes a main hall and seven private VIP rooms capable of accommodating 200 people.
The restaurant's total capacity can seat 450 patrons.
"The largest connected private room can accommodate up to 100 people. Each private room is equipped with its own restroom and high-quality audio system, enhancing the privacy and entertainment experience for our guests."
He shared that there is currently no minimum spend set for the private rooms. The primary focus is to attract more people to enjoy this luxurious space and dining experience, thereby shaping a distinctive brand positioning and image.
Loh added that Count Cuisine is a complex that integrates multiple dining concepts, housing three major F&B brands internally: Count Cuisine Chinese Restaurant, Sushi Missy Japanese Restaurant and Flower Drums Private Kitchen.
Lee explained that the Count Cuisine Chinese Restaurant focuses on exquisite Hong Kong-style Cantonese cuisine, offering both traditional and innovative dishes, with an emphasis on precious dried seafood.
The Sushi Missy Japanese Restaurant provides high-quality Japanese cuisine, can seat about 50 people and has a private room for 6. Flower Drums is an independent high-end private kitchen brand with its own separate kitchen, aiming to create a pork-free menu to attract a more diverse clientele, including members of the royal family and international guests.
"Among the three dining areas, only the Chinese restaurant offers a menu containing pork. The Japanese restaurant and the private kitchen are both pork-free."
In anticipation of the upcoming festive season, Count Cuisine is now open for reservations and inquiries regarding wedding banquets, Chinese New Year reunion dinners and various events.
The restaurant's operating hours are 11.30am to 3pm and 6pm to 10.30pm and it operates as usual on public holidays and weekends.
The restaurant will be closed on the first and second days of the Lunar New Year, reflecting a corporate culture that values staff and family reunion.
