All 6,222 Malaysians in Hat Yai evacuated


PETALING JAYA: After days of rescue operations, all 6,222 Malaysians trapped in the Hat Yai floods have been safely ­evacuated, says the Foreign Ministry.

Wisma Putra said the ­remaining 12 Malaysians were brought home via Bukit Kayu Hitam, which borders Thailand.
