No clear lead in midway race

KOTA KINABALU: No party is seen to have taken a clear lead as the campaign for the 17th Sabah election hits the midway point.

Observers see the battle lines drawn between Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS), led by caretaker Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, and his arch rivals Warisan, under Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal, and Sabah Barisan Nasional, led by Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin.
