RESIDENTS of a village in Tanjung Sepat, Selangor, are relieved to finally have proper road access to their homes again after 15 years, Makkal Osai reported.
The Bedford Indian Village, home to about 20 families, relied on an earth road that was upgraded to tar about 15 years ago.
Over time, however, it deteriorated badly and became riddled with potholes, said village head Padmanathan.
Villagers are grateful to Tanjung Sepat assemblyman and state exco member Datuk Borhan Aman Shah who helped resurface the 110m stretch at a cost of RM18,000.
