Working with community leaders to address issues in Yong Peng

PETALING JAYA: Several issues, including the lack of facilities in Yong Peng's schools and houses of worship, are being addressed by community leaders with the help of MCA.

MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong said that he had met with several community leaders, including representatives from our component parties Umno and MIC, as well as local NGOs at his service centre in Yong Peng recently.

"They informed me of several issues and the lack of facilities in some suraus, mosques and schools.

As the Ayer Hitam MP, together with Yong Peng state assemblyman Ling Tian Soon and Semarang state assemblyman Datuk Haji Samsolbari Jamali, we are doing our very best to assist community leaders in addressing these concerns to ensure that the infrastructure and basic amenities are well maintained and in good condition," he said on Facebook on Friday (Nov 7).
