Perak seeks boost from US minerals deal

IPOH: Perak aims to benefit from the government’s partnership with the United States on critical minerals to boost investments and reinforce its role in the non-radioactive rare earth elements (NR-REE) industry.

Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad, who disclosed this, said the newly-forged agreement was expected to draw more US investments to the state, mainly in the NR-REE industry in which Perak has taken the lead.
