Meanwhile, in Kluang, a mother and her teenage son were killed on the spot in an accident at KM65, Jalan Johor Baru Ayer Hitam on Saturday at 5.30pm.
Kluang OCPD Asst Comm Bahrin Mohd Noh said the incident involved a car, a factory van and a four-wheel-drive.
He said the car, driven by a 51-year-old local woman with her 15-year-old and nine year-old-sons, was travelling from Simpang Renggam towards Kampung Bukit Kenangan.
“The car had stopped to enter the right junction when the van, driven by a 53-year-old man, lost control and hit the car,” ACP Bahrin said.

ACP Bahrin added the van also crashed into the 4WD.
“The female driver and her 15-year-old son, who was sitting next to her, suffered severe injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene,” he said.
