Several Rapid KL stations closed temporarily for security reasons

KUALA LUMPUR: Several Rapid KL stations will be temporarily closed for security reasons in conjunction with the 47th Asean Summit, affecting the Kelana Jaya, Putrajaya and Kajang routes from 4pm to 6pm.

Rapid KL, in a statement, announced that for the Kelana Jaya route, the stations involved are Ampang Park and KLCC, while for the Putrajaya route, the stations are Conlay, Persiaran KLCC, and Ampang Park.

"For the Kajang route, it involves only the Bukit Bintang station," the statement on Sunday (Oct 26) noted.

Alternatively, users can use the Monorail service at Bukit Nanas, Raja Chulan and Bukit Bintang stations or the Kelana Jaya Line at Kampung Baru Station via Saloma Bridge.

The public transport operator also announced that other stations not involved would operate normally, following the daily schedule.

In addition, bus services on the T407 route were temporarily suspended due to road closures by the authorities.

Bus operations would resume once the road reopens.

In this regard, Rapid KL advises users to plan their journeys and refer to Rapid KL's social media pages or Pulse app for the latest service status. – Bernama
