‘Richi Gang’ thieves caught

JOHOR BARU: A group has been preying on village houses and older cars lacking proper security features, and using the stolen vehicles to commit crime across five districts.

Johor deputy police chief Deputy Comm Abdul Latiff Mehat said the arrests of nine suspected members of the so-called “Richi Gang” have helped solve 32 cases of house and shop break-ins as well as vehicle thefts since mid-2022.
