A MAN in Johor made a painful decision to leave his girlfriend of five years after she failed to keep her promise of leaving her husband, reported Sin Chew Daily.

Sharing his story anonymously on a Facebook page, the man said he met the woman on social media when he was working in Singapore.

It started off as flirty interactions on Facebook but the two became a couple when he moved back to Johor during the pandemic even though the woman was still married, albeit no longer living with her husband.

They kept their relationship hidden and the woman kept promising that she would divorce her husband.

As time went on, the man kept pestering the woman to get a divorce but she kept asking for more time.

After five years, the man finally confronted the woman and asked if she was afraid of getting caught being in a clandestine relationship.

“As long as I am happy, nothing else matters,” she was reported to have said.

Sad and disappointed, the man broke up with the woman and warned others to avoid getting into any relationship which cannot be made public.

> A tour guide in Thailand drew flak online after he was filmed spewing threats in Mandarin at a group of tourists from China, reported China Press.

The video showed a man dressed in a purple T-shirt yelling at passengers on a bus through a microphone.

A middle-aged man next to him was seen trying to calm him down.

“Let me tell you – this guy here is trying to calm me down, but I’ve had enough.

“When we get to the duty-free shop, you won’t be getting back on the bus. I’m warning you – tonight, I’ll make sure you don’t get back to China,” he said.

He then demanded the person filming it to delete the video.

The clip sparked a heated discussion, with online users pointing out that the man did not sound Thai at all.
