A TEENAGER, who was thought to have died in an accident in India, started coughing at his funeral.
Now, the family members are blaming the doctors for the horrible confusion, Makkal Osai reported.
The 19-year-old from Maharasthra got into an accident and was in serious condition in the hospital.
The family said they were told by the doctors that the boy had no chance of survival.
It was not clear how this was communicated to the family but they began preparing for the funeral thinking he was already dead. The shocked family, who realised he was still alive when he began coughing despite being unconscious, rushed him to the hospital where he was still in serious condition and has been placed on a ventilator.
The hospital has clarified that the doctors had not declared the boy dead but this did not stop the family from condemning the medical staffers.
