Sultan of Pahang, Tengku Ampuan extend Malaysia day greetings

KUANTAN: The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Tengku Ampuan Pahang, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah have extended Malaysia Day greetings to the people of Pahang and all Malaysians.

Their Royal Highnesses, in a post on the official Kesultanan Pahang Facebook page, urged Malaysians to embrace the spirit of unity, citing the proverb ‘United we stand, divided we fall’.

"Let us rise together in pursuit of success for our beloved homeland, with courage and resilience. Every drop of sweat shed today is an investment in a brighter future.

"Love for our country is not mere rhetoric, but a commitment to ensure its continued independence and prosperity. A strong nation is built by a people who are united, disciplined and tireless in their efforts,” the post read.

The royal couple also fondly recalled their ‘Kembara Kenali Borneo’ journey two years ago, describing it as a meaningful experience that strengthened bonds between the monarchy and the people.

"May Malaysia continue to thrive in peace and prosperity. Let us foster goodwill, nurture patriotism and uphold our responsibilities as citizens, so that Malaysia continues to progress and earn global respect. Selamat Hari Malaysia,” they said.

Meanwhile, Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail said Malaysia Day represents more than just a celebration, as it symbolises national unity and shared progress.

"It is a recognition of the sacrifices of past leaders, the dedication of people from all walks of life and the collective effort to preserve harmony and stability,” he said in a Malaysia Day message posted on his official Facebook page. — Bernama
