Gerik OCPD Supt Abdul Samad Othman said a post-mortem revealed a minor tear on the man's head, believed to have been caused by a fall from a height.

"So far, the identity of the body has not been determined, and investigations are still ongoing to identify the victim," he told Bernama on Sunday (Sept 14).

The case has been classified as sudden death.

On Saturday, at 9.10am, authorities received information about the discovery of a body from the Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) auxiliary police in Temenggor.
