JOHOR BARU: Johor is finalising a standard operating procedure (SOP) to ensure schools and universities act swiftly during earthquakes following a rare spate of tremors in the state.
State education and information committee chairman Aznan Tamin said the minor quakes shook several areas, including Segamat, Yong Peng and Batu Pahat, raising safety concerns among students, teachers and parents.
