Keen to enhance knowledge

BALING: For Bandar Baharu Community College student Ahmad Faiz Arshad Mohd Faisal, the Madani Rakyat Programme (PMR) here is a good platform for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) students to enhance their knowledge.

The 20-year-old participated in the programme, which also features motorcycle engine oil change activity.

“I’m pursuing a Certificate in Automotive Technology, which is more focused on car maintenance. Perhaps, if there is an opportunity after this, I might even learn how to repair motorcycles,” he said when met by Bernama at the Kedah PMR held at the Baling District Council Sports Complex here yesterday.

As for his friend Muhammad Darul Abdul Rahman, 20, he is participating in the event for the third time.

“I like to gain new knowledge so, whenever I have the opportunity, I will join.

“Previously, I didn’t even know the types of screws, but after a day of toiling, my quality of work has improved.”

Six students participated in the motorcycle engine change programme at the Kedah PMR.
