Doo Group confirms its Bangsar South office was 'inspected' by' police


PETALING JAYA: The Doo Group has confirmed that its office in Malaysia had been inspected  by the police on Wednesday (Aug 27).

According to Fintechnews.my, the financial services company said that police had "visited" its premises and others for inspections.

It added that the company would cooperate with police and provide information to the authorities when required.

Earlier in the day, Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Fadil Marsus confirmed a large-scale operation in Bangsar South was conducted.

While he did not share more details, he confirmed that it was an anti-scam operation and that arrests were made.

It is believed that hundreds of people were detained during the sweep.
