PETALING JAYA: The Offline 16 ESG event by VitaHealth Malaysia and Tropicana Corporation Bhd’s has been gaining popularity and traction since its first kick-off in 2024.
This first-of-its-kind event pays homage to World Mental Health by the World Health Organization (WHO), promoting a healthy mind for a healthy life.
Entering its second year, Offline 16 has recorded 1,320 participants so far.
Its recent flagship event held on Aug 16 at Tropicana Golf and Country Resort (TGCR) was a great success, recording 310 participants, all geared to play pickleball with Olympian badminton superstar and VitaHealth Ambassador Pearly Tan and pickleball champion Colin Wong.
This wellness ESG was held from 11am to 8pm and fostered face-to-face interactions through engaging and fun activities.
Spearheaded by Australian-owned supplement brand VitaHealth and community builder Tropicana, while backed by the BIG Caring Group, Offline 16 encourages participants to disconnect from digital devices and reconnect with the world around them.
Building on this momentum and in alignment with the companies’ ESG commitments, this year’s movement is centred around pickleball challenges, scoring many fans and excited participants.
Speaking at the event, VitaHealth (Malaysia and Singapore) chief executive officer and Offline 16 founder Dr KS Beh said, “At VitaHealth, we live by our slogan ‘Healthy Life, Happy Vibes’, and for over 78 years we have been providing trusted supplements and wellness solutions that help people live healthier, happier lives.”

“To date, we have clocked 41 offline hours across seven events, engaging 1,320 participants. This is not just a digital detox, it is a joy reset because the best moments do not happen on screen, they happen when we are fully present.”
Beh added: “I also want to take this opportunity to thank our partner Tropicana, together with BIG Caring Group and our dedicated team for making this event a great success.”
Tropicana sales, marketing and business development managing director Ixora Ang said, “At Tropicana, our mission is to create sustainable, livable townships that truly support the people who call them home.
“ESG isn’t just about the environment and governance; it is about the people, too. Offline 16 shows how this vision goes beyond buildings; it’s about giving everyone a chance to unplug, reconnect and care for their well-being together.
“We are proud to champion this wellness and ESG movement with VitaHealth, together with the support from our community-conscious arm, Tropicana Foundation and our event sponsor, TGCR.”
Ang added: “On behalf of the management, we are also happy to sponsor Tropicana employees, joining this event and cultivating good mental and physical health.
“In line with our mantra ‘Redefining the Art of Living, Caring and Sharing’, we remain committed to growing this positive movement and we warmly welcome more corporate partners to join us.”
BIG Caring Group chief marketing officer Wong Siew Lai said, “At BIG Pharmacy and Caring Pharmacy, our shared mission is to make healthcare more accessible while inspiring healthier, happier lifestyles.
