Subang student murder: Cops have recorded statements from 12 so far


SUBANG JAYA: The police have recorded statements from 12 people in the ongoing probe into the murder of a college student here.

When contacted Monday (Aug 18), Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Wan Azlan Mamat said a motive behind the murder is still being investigated.

“It is possible that the suspect involved is a known person (to the victim),” he said.

On Aug 14, the body of a college student in her twenties was found inside a home in USJ2/1

A post mortem confirmed the cause of death as bleeding around the neck bone (hyoid bone) with injuries found on the muscle and bone areas being deemed to have been from manual strangulation.
