Sarawak GOF seizes smuggled goods, illegal timber worth RM4.85mil


KUCHING: The General Operations Force (GOF) has foiled a slew of cross-border crime, including smuggling and illegal logging between August 1 and 16, seizing RM4.85mil in goods.

Sarawak brigade commander SAC Lim Bak Phai said that on August 1, Sibu Battalion 10 arrested a 42-year-old Indonesian man for suspected involvement in illegal logging activities in Sibu.
