Man kills ‘interfering’ mum-in-law


HIS mother-in-law was often interfering in his married life, so he killed her and cut up her body into 19 pieces.

The murder came to light when a plastic bag containing a human hand was found in India’s Karnataka state, Malaysia Nanban reported.

Other body parts including the head were found in 18 other locations within a 30km radius.

Police determined that the victim was Letchumi Devamma who had been missing since Aug 3.

CCTV recordings from one of the spots showed a car dumping body parts there. Police traced the car to two men.

When questioned, the men admitted that they had helped their dentist friend Rama­chandra to dispose of the body parts.

Ramachandra admitted to strangling his mother-in-law and dismembering her body.
