Firefighters rescue four from Taman Sentosa shophouse blaze


KLANG: Four people were rescued after a three-storey shophouse caught fire in Taman Sentosa.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said a distress call was received at about 5.43am on Saturday (Aug 16).

"Firemen from the South and North Klang fire stations were deployed to the scene," he said. The fire was on the first floor of the shophouse while the victims were on the third floor," he said.

Ahmad Mukhlis said that firefighters rescued a man, a woman and two girls

"The fire was under control by 6.16am," he said.
