Comm Noor Hisam said 72 people were arrested for drug distribution, 153 for possession and 317 for drug abuse.

"There are eight individuals who are wanted persons.

"Some 16 of those who were arrested are hardcore drug users," he said, adding that investigations and actions will be taken under the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
